A distinguished Metallurgical Engineering graduate of the Zhdanov Metallurgical Institute, Ukraine (formerly USSR), he holds a Master’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Science Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer, a certified Quality Management System (QMS) Lead Auditor, and a NACE Coating Inspector Level 2. With extensive expertise in the oil and gas industry, he has developed a strong foundation in engineering principles, materials science, and quality assurance.
Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to research and development, publishing works on engineering and environmental issues. He is a recognized member of several professional organizations, including the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Metallurgical Association, and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) International. His involvement in these esteemed bodies underscores his commitment to professional excellence and continuous learning in his field.
In January 1989, he joined the renowned Project Development Institute (PRODA) in Enugu as a Senior Research Engineer, where he played a pivotal role in advancing science and technology. His expertise was instrumental in successfully executing major projects, including Mobil’s offshore contracts and the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) Brass Tank work, reinforcing his reputation as a skilled engineer and project manager within the industry.
